Ugh J. C. do you hate women? I can call you J. C. As we have known each other for over 20 years. You were the place to shop for cool weddings and warm wool coats and beautiful suits. But now look at you, you traded quality for quantity. A lot of ill fitting, poorly made pieces. I can order the same style of pants in 3 colors and none will fit the same. You make dresses and shirts and jeans that could not possibly be made to fit the human form. You should have stayed in your lane. You were better than that at one time. I'm sorry but I just can't anymore. Goodbye.To be honest I only shop the sale section of their website. They have had some issues with sizing and quality over the past few years but I am very happy with the items I buy on sale. I love the reviews on their site and never buy with out reading them. Shipping is not super fast but still acceptable. I don't have a store in my area to return items but never have any problem returning via mail.

Why do they still advertise sizes as available online that are definitely not available. Just for funzies I re-ordered the same items 3x over a two week period…they cancel the orders with that warm and fuzzy email, but won’t take the time to update their inventory in the online store. Thanks for the complete and utter waste of time. I have no confidence in JCrew anymore. If you’re going to make me filter my size, length, color, and style for God’s sake take the same amount care in managing your online store as you expect of your customers.
Bad customer service
I was at North shore mall in MA on 6/19 around 5:30pm. I noticed your staff asked all white people if they needed help with anything. I was in the store as well, but they never asked me if I need help or said hi. This is not the first time, it happened several times. Maybe my color skin is not white so I can’t afford products you sell? Provide is customer service class to your staff.

My family and I have been extremely loyal customers to j crew for many years. I tried returning an unworn (with tags still in place) blouse I bought a couple of months ago and they just would not hear of it! I simply asked for a store credit and again completely shut down!
First of all, this is the first review I have ever written on a buying experience but feel so strongly this is horrible customer service on their part. Last Christmas alone I spent over $2,000.00 on presents for my family and j crew has always been my families go to retail store of choice… never again!
My husband, daughter and myself all have J Crew credit cards, which will be closed immediately
So bottom line is J crew will be losing several good customers over a refund/store credit that would have costs them very little!
Expedited Order Cancelled
I ordered a dress online for a birthday party I was to attend. I expedited shipping to ensure it arrived in time for the event. The delivery date was approaching and I noticed that the status of my order was still processing. I call customer service and was given an explanation that my order would ship from a local store and would arrive on the expected delivery date. The day after the item was supposed to be delivered, I got a cancellation email. According to their own tracking system, there was no way I was going to get it delivered on time. Customer service rep clearly misinformed me. I won't be shopping at J Crew anymore, not worth the aggravation.

Sketchy return policy
I have shopped at Jcrew for 25+ plus years. It is fairly obvious the company is struggling financially. Just be aware that it is rather difficult to get your money back on any purchases. They have a 30 day window on probably only half of their merchandise (the other half are final sale). They don’t have any brick and mortar stores near me so I have to mail (they only use post office which is a nightmare) return back. I mail the items within that window and they always claim that it is late so they issue a gift card only. No matter how early you mail return back they claim it is late. No where on their site does it mention that if you mail your items back within the 30 day window you still won’t get your money refunded to your card. Is this even legal?

They found me on indeed, the district manager emailed me to set up an interview. The position was lower than my current holding position which I was okay with as long as my salary was matched. The process was quick and easy, even the interview went well it lasted for a hour. However you can tell that Ashley wasn't thrilled to be interviewing me, however I kept my professionalism and articulated my words. I received a email saying I wasn't qualified a couple days after my interview, I was completely flabbergasted because my retail experience and background over qualified me for the position. Very distasteful experience, they ought to diversify their employees!
They love to cancel your order ! It's fun for them!

DO NOT GET THE JCREW CREDIT CARD. I have worked in the financial industry for 20 years and have never worse credit cardservice. Awful. I spoke to 3 people who sound like robots and were so inflexible.

THINK BEFORE BUYING WOMEN'S FLANNEL
Purchased 2 ladies flannel on sale, they were about $20 each after paying shipping. These shirts are NOT anywhere near flannel. They are a cotton "wanna be" flannel. They were final sale or I would have returned them immediately. If you are looking for a cotton shirt made to look flannel this is the shirt for you. I purchased flannel on Amazon for the same price and they were real flannel. I'm very disappointed in J Crew and will stick with LL Bean for my future purchases.

No regard for their customers or the planet
I ordered 2 robes which were not cheap. When they arrived I expected there to be some quality to them based on the price. They were incredibly thin, cheaply made, ill-fitting, way too small and not at all true to size. I tried returning them, and J-crew made me return them separately so they could charge me two return shipping fees (even though they were shipped to me in one package). Then they charged a restock fee on top? When the sizes advertised were not even close to accurate. This is irresponsible and there is apparently no regard for the planet. Why insist on needless packing materials, postage, etc? Just to make an extra few bucks off your customers instead of serving their needs. Pathetic.

Worst Customer Service EVER
Jcrew sent me an item with a detached tag and when I called to return the item, I was told that I cannot cause it is final sale. I told them that I cannot give this as gift anymore cause the tag is not on it, they yet did not accept it. Jcrew has the worst customer service. They are not helpful AT ALL. and they keep telling you is there anything else I can help you with (like a machine) without an slightest attempt to solve your first issue.

DO not buy here
I got an item which run bigger that the real size. It was on sale the next day I bought it. I did not get any price adjustment and I have to pay to return it. Never again!

1 star because cant leave a 0 … ordered my daughter a pair of boots for Christmas .. unable to return due to past 30 days to return .. I SHOULD have looked at return policy first I guess BUT ive never had an issue anywhere else where CHRISTMAS items can’t be returned after Christmas. I bought them mid NOV. for a Christmas gift. They were past the return date before she even opened the gift. I will never make a purchase here again .. and I have been a good customer for years
